36 Pupils Squeezed In A Mini Bus

The Mini bus that is regulated to commute 17 passengers load was caught transporting 36 pupils excluding Driver. This incident happened today, 20 January 2022 in R52 road at Nkwezela area during the Harry Gwala District Scholar Transport Operation. Traffic Officers and SAPS were shocked by the act of one Driver, who also exceeded speed limit. The Driver was commuting children from Gqumeni area to St Charles Primary school. He even failed to justify his wrongdoing act. He was charged by Officer Gugu Zungu and fined R3800.00. Mayor of Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma Local Municipality Cllr PS Msomi was flabbergasted by this Driver actions. She condemned these actions and call up on all law enforcement to act firm and arrest such people.
