Mayor Congratulates Class Of 2021

I want to congratulate the class of 2021 on their perseverance and the magnificent results obtained. The hard work really did pay off for many of our learners. We are once again delighted to hear of the outstanding performances of learners and schools from our municipal area. We are proud to be home to several schools that consistently rank as some of the best performing schools in the district as well as in the province of Kwa Zulu Natal.

To those learners who didn’t do as well as they had hoped, this is not the end of the world. Far from it, see this as a small hurdle that will build character and grit. Support is available to you and I urge you to reach out to the Department of Education or your school counsellor to discuss the various options that are available to you. Regroup, study hard and rewrite those exams as soon as you can.
