The Local Economic Development (LED) Unit of Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma Municipality is committed to driving inclusive economic growth, reducing poverty, and creating sustainable livelihoods for residents.

  • SMME Support and Development – Providing training, mentorship, and funding linkages to small businesses and entrepreneurs
  • Job Creation Initiatives – Facilitating public-private partnerships, EPWP programs, and skills development projects that generate employment
  • Investment Promotion – Attracting local and external investors through strategic projects and an enabling business environment
