The Chief Financial Officer Of Ndz Municipality Is Leaving His Position: Mr. Kmb Mzimela
Following the end of the employment contracts of senior officials in the Municipality, Mr. Mthembeni Mzimela was greatly thanked by the councilors of this municipality for his role in ensuring that the Municipality manages taxpayers’ money properly and that it works to serve the needs of the communities of Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma Local Municipality.
Municipal Manager Mr. NC Vezi was full of praises for Mzimela, he highly praised the good cooperation that existed between him and Mr. Mzimela. He also revealed that Mzimela joined the municipality in 2008 when it was still called Ingwe Local Municipality as an officer before it was merged with the Kwa Sani Local Municipality. He was then promoted and became an Accountant, he went to join Umzimkhulu Local Municipality to work as a Deputy Chief Financial Officer. He came back in 2013 to work in this Council as the Chief Financial Officer.
Since he joined this Municipality, the Council has been receiving good reports from the Auditor General and we are currently recognised as on of the best Municipality in the Province of Kwa Zulu Natal when it comes to financial management.
